Days and Hours of Operation
The school day is either 8:30am - 1pm or 8:30am - 2:30pm. Families may choose to attend 3, 3, or 4 days a week.
htP is a year-round school. During the school year, we follow the vacation schedule of the Piedmont Unified School District. During the summer, we are open except for the July 4th weekend, and the last two weeks of August. We are also closed for a day on Yom Kippur.
Ages of Children Accepted for Care
htP is a program designed for children between 2 and 5 years of age. A child who is 5 years old on or before September 1 of the school year will be expected to move on to a pre-kindergarten or kindergarten program.
Class Size
We have a total of 12 students with a child-to-adult ratio of either 4:1 or 3:1, with the busier and more active times of day having the lower ratio.
